Get out and get active.
Take in the Mackenzie Falls. Go rock-climbing, abseiling or horse riding.
Visit the Little Desert National Park for tranquil swimming and canoeing. Or, slow down with fishing, boating or golf.
Attend the Grampians Music Festival in February, enjoy the live music, dance the weekend away then return to your cabin for relaxation!
Drive in the autumn sun to aboriginal sites where you will find rock paintings, canoe trees and midden sites.
The Grampians hosts two-thirds of the Aboriginal rock art sites in Victoria. A valuable starting point for your cultural adventure is Brambuk National Park and Cultural Centre. Hours 9am -5pm daily. For something different, Garden Gully hosts a Scarecrows in the Vineyard competition. Experience the clever imagination of scarecrow maker. Or, pop over to Stawell for one of the world’s most famous and prestigious footraces the Stawell Gift held every Easter. Fun and festivities.

Go for a drive through the valley and be astounded by Mt William and rugged mountain ranges. Beautiful farmland rests in wait of spring growth.

Flora and Fauna awaken in the new cycle of life. Watch for many unusual birds that live in the region. In the Grampians the sweet Blue Wrens are characters to watch out for!
Colourful spring wildflowers paint the land and the subtle variations among over 970 native plant species is incredible. Significant wildflowers are the Grampians Thryptomene, the Grampians Bavera, Flame Heath, Victorian Smoke-bush, grevilleas, and a wonderful variety of bush peas and orchids.
Halls Gap Wildlife Park & Zoo treats you to native and exotic animals and birds.
Deer and kangaroos roam and monkeys and ostriches form some of the gang found in this 10-hectare park which includes a playground and picnic area. Wood BBQs are free.
